Tupper Lake Archers offers a 15 point, 20 yard indoor heated range, an outdoor 50 yard range with a 16 foot high elevated shooting tower, and an outside 15 target range set out in the woods, with another 16 foot elevated shooting tower.

One of their more famous events is the Mountain Challenge 3-d archery shoot.

Information on the Mountain Challenge

Registration opens at 7 A.M. on Saturday morning at the Rod and Gun Club Lodge. People who have pre-registered may go directly to the pavilion area and pick up their score cards and avoid the wait. Pre-registration forms may be downloaded directly from this site. When registering be sure that you know what class you shoot in and what color shooting stake you will be shooting from.

After obtaining your score card, go to the indoor archery range and be sure to check out our raffles and sign up for our door prizes. Once you have finished signing up for door prizes proceed to the outside practice range. Feel free to practice as long as you would like. When you are ready to shoot go to the person assigning courses. Once you have your course assignment, please go directly to the course and start shooting. This will help avoid a “backup” of shooters. Transportation to and from the farther courses will be provided until 4 P.M. on Saturday and 3 P.M. on Sunday.

Anyone wishing to have their scores posted Saturday must have them into the registration table no later then 4 P.M. No scores will be posted after that. There will be no scores posted on Sunday until after awards are given out.

Awards will be given out at 4 P.M. on Sunday. Raffles and 50-50 drawings will also be given out at this time.

We have 4 courses of 15 targets set out in the woods of Tupper Lake. You may shoot 2 courses one day and 2 the following day or any combination as long as you shoot all 4 courses.

All score cards must be turned in no later then 3 P.M. Sunday in order to determine winners by 4 P.M. In cases of ties in the top three places a shoot off will be held to determine winners. The club house will be closed from 3-4P.M. in order finalize scores.
