$30.00 Entry Fee. All entrants must report to the Rod & Gun Clubhouse on Sunday morning to pick up their tag. Lodge will open at 5:00 am. Anyone caught fishing without a tag will be disqualified. Anglers must abide by NYS fishing regulations. Fishing hours will be from 7 am till 3 pm. Anyone caught fishing prior to this time will be disqualified. Fishing will take place on Lake Simond up river to Follensby Bridge, Tupper Lake up to Bog River Falls and Raquette Pond down to Setting Pole Dam. Maps will be available. Food and beverages will be available from 5:00AM until Noon at the Rod and Gun Club house. To save valuable fishing time please fill out the registration on the reverse and send to the address listed or bring with you the day of the event. Weigh-In stations will be located at Blue Jay Campsite, Lake Simond and Raquette Pond. These stations will close at 3:00 Pm sharp so plan accordingly.
Derby Rules
All fishing to take place on designated waters only. Contest runs from 7am till 3pm on July 20, 2008. You may be on the water earlier, but no fishing is to take place until 7am.All
N Y state fishing laws apply to the taking and size of fish caught as well as licensing. Sportsmanlike conduct is expected from all contestants and any conduct deemed otherwise by officials will be cause for disqualification, Derby officials must weigh in all fish at one of the three official scales only. Incase of a tie the first fish weighed in will be the winner. All fish will become property of the derby officials to be released if alive. All persons fishing in the same boat all must be registered in the tournament or all persons in the boat will be disqualified. Fish must be alive and healthy. Cash prizes will be awarded at the Rod and Gun Clubhouse after the derby has ended. All 50/50 and other raffles and prizes will be drawn at that time.
